Kumar Satyam is a Sufi Ghazal singer. He hails from Bihar. He learned music from his grandfather Late Ramashish Ji Maharaj and father Late Pandit Lalan Ji Maharaj. There was a musical environment in his home due to which his interest grew towards music. To present his art, Kumar Satyam created a YouTube channel and started Uploading his songs. The audience liked his Sufi Ghazals a lot. When he got fame from YouTube, he started getting offers for stage shows not only from the country but also from abroad. He has given more than 3,000 stage performances so far.
Kumar Satyam was born in Banka district of Bihar. He received his education from Dumka, Jharkhand. He started learning music from a very young age. He performed on stage for the first time at the age of 3. He is the fourth generation singer of his family.
