Mrunal Thakur is an Indian actress who is seen spreading the magic of dance and acting in Hindi cinema as well as South Indian cinema. Mrunal started her career with TV serials. People liked the character of Bulbul played by her in the TV serial Kumkum Bhagya very much. She had worked in other serials before Kumkum Bhagya but she got more fame as Bulbul. Mrunal Thakur was born on 1 August 1992 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. She did her schooling from St. Joseph Convent School, Jalgaon, Mumbai and joined Vasant Vihar High School for further studies. Mrinal has studied Mass Media from Kishinchind Chellaram College, Mumbai. Mrinal’s family consists of her parents and two siblings. Her father’s name is Uday Singh B Thakur who is a bank employee.

It was not easy for Mrinal to make a career in the world of acting. During one of her interviews, Mrinal told that when she used to go for auditions, she was treated differently. Because of which she would start crying after going home but her parents would make her understand that in the coming 10 years, people would be inspired by her. On the advice of her parents, Mrinal never gave up and she kept giving auditions and one day she got a chance. After this, due to her hard work and beauty, Mrinal made her special identity in the world of acting. Mrinal took her first step in acting in the TV serial Kuch Kehti….Yeh Khamoshiyan.

The turning point in Mrinal Thakur’s career came when she signed the Indo-American film ‘Love Sonia’ in 2018. She made her international debut with this film. She has spread her charm in many Bollywood films. Along with Bollywood, Mrinal has also worked in South cinema. She has played a brilliant role of Princess Noorjahan in the South film Sita Ramam.
