Nimrat Kaur is an Indian actress and model. She was born on 13 March 1982 in Pilani, Rajasthan to a Sikh family. Her father Major Bhupinder Singh SC was an Indian Army officer and she has a younger sister Rubina, who is a psychologist in Bangalore.
Nimrat Kaur studied at Delhi Public School, Noida. Later she did B.Com Honours in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. After completing her studies, Nimrat went to Mumbai and started Modelling. She made her Bollywood debut in 2004 with Kumar Sanu and Shreya Ghoshal’s song Tera Mera Pyar. Nimrat started her film career with a small role in the English film ‘One Night with the King’ (2006). Her chemistry with Irrfan Khan in the film The Lunch Box was really appreciated. In 2016, she was seen in ‘Air Lift’ with Akshay Kumar.
